ONLINE COURSE

During this 6-week Introduction to Mindfulness course, we will explore the definition and principles of mindfulness, discuss how mindfulness operates, and cover topics such as concentration, emotional and bodily awareness, and self-care. We will also investigate how to skillfully navigate both pleasant and unpleasant experiences through various mindfulness practices, with each session introducing a different technique.

This course aims to provide you with a deeper understanding of mindfulness, helping you identify techniques that best suit your individual needs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your insights and experiences within a supportive group setting.

Whether you are new to mindfulness or seeking to expand your knowledge, this course can serve as an excellent starting point.

  • Anyone who is interested in:

    • Learning about the mindfulness approach and trying mindfulness practices

    • Learning more about mindfulness-based stress reduction and self-regulation techniques

    • Enhancing emotional and bodily awareness

    • Developing the capacity to be more present

  • The course will introduce you to the concept of mindfulness and the key mindfulness practices, while supporting you in developing the following skills:

    • Being more present in the moment

    • Being better equipped to recognise and name your experiences in the moment (including your stress responses)

    • Knowing the tools that can be used to regulate your mental and emotional state

    • Being kinder to yourself

  • The course will be conducted online via Zoom, with sessions scheduled every Wednesday from 20:00 to 21:30 CET. Your live attendance is expected, but in case you can't make it to a session, a recording will be provided.

    To ensure a conducive learning environment, group sizes will be kept small, allowing everyone to comfortably share their experiences and questions. We encourage participants to have their cameras on during sessions whenever possible.

    Each session will encompass theoretical segments, group mindfulness practice, and a dedicated Q&A session focused on your personal practice. Additionally, we will establish a closed WhatsApp group for sharing experiences and addressing any inquiries that may arise. Practice recordings will also be available for individual practice between sessions.

    The course fee is 200 EUR.

    Discussing the definition of mindfulness, the key skills it helps us develop and the main types of mindfulness practice

    Integrating new habits into our lives. Exploring how mindfulness practices can support us in building concentration

  • session 03 / Mindfulness and bodily awareness

    Discussing bodily and emotional awareness and the way mindfulness helps enhance it, supporting us in being more in touch with ourselves

  • Session 04 / Mindfulness and stress

    Discussing the interlinkages between stress, self-regulation and mindfulness practice

  • session 05 / The pleasant and the unpleasant

    Developing the capacity to fully savor pleasant experiences and skillfully navigate unpleasant ones using mindfulness tools

  • Session 06 / Heartfulness

    Discussing the importance of self-care, exploring the concept of heartfulness, reviewing the course, and addressing how to continue your practice after the course ends
